Post JMS Forum Guidelines - Please read before posting
New to the JMS forums? Have you found your post was deleted or edited?

At the JMS forums, we strive to promote open and healthy discussion. Please take a few moments to observe our four rules before contributing to the forums.

1.) Respect. This goes without saying but is worth reiterating: do not post messages directly attacking anyone’s personal character. Healthy discussions should include differing opinions, not personal jibes.

2.) Do not post under a false guise. Creating an account for the sake of hiding one’s real identity is strictly prohibited. If you feel you need to be anonymous to say something, you probably shouldn’t be saying it. Abusers of this rule may be banned or have all of their accounts removed – and we can track down who is creating the anonymous accounts despite whatever attempts are made to hide yourself.

3.) JMS is a business. In order to continue to survive, grow, and better serve you, JMS has to act like a business (but trust us – we’re not quitting our day jobs any time soon). This means that soliciting other services that compete with JMS will not be allowed through our forum or private message system. There are some extenuating circumstances for certain things – training sessions, morning pickup sessions, scrimmages – please contact barbara@jmshockey.com if you feel this applies to you.

4.) JMS is not responsible for any libelous, slanderous, or any other material posted on the forum. We focus our energies on bringing you great pickup hockey — not babysitting the forum. There is a certain amount of personal responsibility that is left to you and the community to self govern.

Lastly, before you make a post on the forum, ask yourself: Does my post add value to the discussion at hand?
