Post Boogaard Jersey - $50
I've got an authentic Derek Boogaard jersey for sale on Craigslist. It's all stitched lettering, fightin strap, the real deal. Got it for Christmas but too large for me (size 50). Pic's and more info on Craigslist, located under "sporting" catagory. A steal for only $50.

You know its pretty bad that people have to knock people trying to sell something.....I think the jersey looks good and if i had the money i would probably buy it......Who ever tries to give people crap for selling stuff (even if it is fake) You really need to grow up.

Interesting that the country of origin can be determined from a picture......
Received jersey as gift from brother in law (lives in Indiana). Came with all typical tags and NHL hologram on tags.
Tag on jersey says "Made In Canada"
As I said, the jersey is too big for me and I'm not a fan of a player who hasn't scored a goal in over 2 years.

No need to get mad about it, I was just pointing out it looks like a knockoff so people are aware when they think they are getting the real deal for 50 bucks. People get so defensive about these for some reason, there is another similar post in the JMS forum.

I don't see where anybody "knocked" the seller. I think that people are entitled to know what they are paying for. One of the nice things about a forum like this is that the less informed get the benefit of the more informed. All Joe did was point out to those who might be interested in the jersey that they should consider the purchase carefully. I agree with him, it looks Chinese.

There are a lot of these knockoffs out there being sold as genuine, not just hockey jerseys either . . . brand name watches, purses and who knows what all else. Some folks don't mind the knock offs (I'm one of them) and would buy one without hesitation. But I do believe it is nice to know what you're buying before you buy not after.

Just my two cents.

I have a problem with where the money from the sales goes. If you buy a jersey from the Hockey Lodge, or from River City Sports, or NHL.com; you know you are getting a jersey made to certain standards. And the money from the sale goes to the teams, the leagues, and the manufactuer of those jerseys. When you buy a knockoff, the leagues and teams see nothing on what is a trademarked item. Its the same as buying a bootleg DVD. In addition, the employees making the jersey are probably getting about 25 cents for each jersey they make. Where does the rest of the money go? I'd hate to think my money was going to support some criminal activity.

Jersey is sold
Didn't realize selling my Christmas white elephant gift would generate so much discussion.

It's a forum . . . posting the color of your briefs will generate discussion.
