 Skate Sharpeners
Anyone have their own? Anyone know of one someone is trying to get rid of? I'd really like to get my own, but $800 is a lot for me to spend right now. Granted, I get them sharpened at a local shop for free, but if they don't do that good of a job, what's the point?

 Re: Skate Sharpeners
Every once in a while one pops up on Craig's List. I've been watching for Goalie gear for a couple of months and I think I've seen 2 sharpeners in that time. One was just a week or so ago.
Good luck in your hunt.

 Re: Skate Sharpeners
There is a guy that sharpens skates at the Alexandria Rec Center named Brad that is the inventor of "The Profiler" I think it's called. It's 60 bucks and does an honestly really good job. It fits in the palm of your hand and you just run it on the bottom of your skates 15-20 times. Im sure you could google it. Even if you didn't want to rely on it to sharpen all the time, I suppose you could use it in between sharpenings to lengthen the period of time you have to have it done by a pro.
