Hockey experience: Grew up in California, never skated as a kid, and knew nothing about hockey (this was the pre-San Jose Sharks era). Learned to inline skate in my 20's after a move to Ohio, and started playing inline hockey for a few years. Gave it up after moving to MN in 1999, as the average skill level here is obviously higher than in Ohio. Inspired by my 6 year-old Mite, started playing JMS Level 1 in 2008, and having a blast.
